De Kennelnaam Canis Polaris

Our kennel name Canis Polaris means dog from the pole (polar region). This name is there since 1998, it was Sandra’s kennel name and after the fusion of our kennels, Roderick is also the proud owner of this kennel.
Sandra has been certified to own and operate an animal home or boarding house.

A lot of Roderick's dogs are home bred and they are carrying the kennel name of his parents "Iz Severnoi Zemli". They bred 22 litters of Siberian husky’s. They were very serious with there breeding program. For breeding with there dogs the have been to Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and the Czech Republic. And with this breeding program they have proven their skills in both show and racing Siberians.
5 times an Iz Severnoi Zemli Siberian Husky won de club match of the Siberian Husky Club in the Netherlands. And 7 Iz Severnoi Zemli's are Dutch Champion. Roderick was Dutch Champion in 2005 in the 8 dogs class, 4th at the European Championship 2005 Middle distance And 4th at the World Championship 2007.

Sandra bought her 6 dogs by 5 different kennels in Holland who have all proven there quality in the sleddog sport. Sandra was Dutch Champion 2002 in the 4 dog’s class and 3rd at the European Championship 2007.

Last 2 year we invested a lot in new dogs with other bloodlines from top mushers in Europe, to breed further with these dogs.
Brew is from a combination of Peter Kick and Petra Noelle, Debby is from a combination of Joel Reyniers and Detlef Oyen, Kasimir and Lola are also from Peter Kick with Howling Spirits and Elay is from a combination of Joel reyniers with Christoff Diehl.

Our breed program for the coming years is Petruska's Brew with Reebook's G-Bugger in 2007 and Run Before Beauty's Debby with Petruska's Stormy in 2008.
